Are tools required to install the SkyCom™?When you open the packing container for the SkyCom™ it is ready to install without any additional hardware or tools. In some cases, the light fixtures may need to have a few screws removed which would simply require a basic screwdriver. On the unit that can be sourced with lights (for ceilings of all types), you can order the fixture with a plug or specify it for a hard wire installation which would require a licensed electrician. If you are simply utilizing the standard fixture which uses the existing light from the ceiling the installation should be very simple.
